Moss on Underwater Logs

If logs/wood stay underwater for a specific period of time, they create moss or something similar on the sides. I would say like a couple of Minecraft days for it to grow. I thought this was a great idea!

    Mossy wood! Mossy wood! Mossy wood! Not just in water but also in forests. And it has a chance to spread after every rain. 

    And shelf mushrooms!
