The intention of this numbering change is to make it easier to identify whether the new Minecraft update is a drop or a bugfix, and also to make it more organized. It would look something like this:
1.21.7 -> v21.4.3
21 = Big Update
4 = Game Drop
3 = Hotfix
This would make Minecraft updates more organized, adapting to this new drop system.
Another example:
V11.22.33
11 = Big Update
22 = Game Drop
33 = Hotfix
*The bugfix and drop numbers would be reset after each update. For example: if Mojang releases a new update (1.22) with this new change, it would be named v22.0.0, the next drop v22.1.0, and the next bugfix v22.1.1, and so on.
