Trellises are latticework that can be placed either freestanding or against the side of a block, but must be supported either behind or below it. They allow bush flowers, vines, and sweet berry bushes to grow on them, and limit their spread to other trellises that are adjacent either to the side or above the source. Growth occurring not from a trellis is unaffected. Shears can be used to removed the plant from the trellis, and berries can be reaped from a bush on a trellis as normal.
