Dripstone on hoppers

If we could place dripstone on hoppers, mob farms with falling mobs would require a less deep shaft. It would allow players to use the increased fall damage of dripstone in single player, without having to glitch hopper minecarts into the dripstone blocks and the blocks supporting the dripstone. The hoppers would just reach the items on top of the dripstone, as it's smaller than 1 block.
