Creative mode: having more blocks available as slabs, stairs and walls

Hi,

My husband and I play Minecraft and often play in Creative mode and were thinking how nice it would be to have access to stairs, slabs and walls of all the basic building blocks (including all the Dirt types, Basalt, Terracotta, Wool, Glass, Concrete, Ice etc.). For example, using dirt stairs on a trail so one can walk up a hill vs hopping all the way up.  I like to do more abstract art builds and would've really found glass stairs to be useful!  It's more fun and interesting to be completely free to use any texture or colour in our builds and not be limited by the shapes available.
