I am hoping/expecting that vibrant visuals will at least be available on the Switch 2, (it would be great if it worked well on the original switch too - but I will take what I can get.) My main concern is if we own Minecraft bedrock for the original switch already, will we have to pay to upgrade it in order to use Vibrant Visuals on the Switch 2? If we have to pay how much?

The sooner the information about this is officially released the better i.e. less time for negative speculation.

Vibrant Visual isn't on Switch because it's in beta and only available in Minecraft Preview. Nintendo doesn't provide any way for developers to release betas outside of the current version of the game, so there's the explanation for why it's not on Switch (no, they're not discriminating against anyone).

Mojang Studios is currently testing and planning on bringing Vibrant Visuals to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 and possibly in the near future, Mojang Studios might release it on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 (either partially or fully). And the developers said in the Minecraft LIVE event, "We're working on bringing Vibrant Visuals to more Bedrock devices in the near future." So, it might or might not come out on Nintendo Switch (possibly Nintendo Switch 2). I hope this info helped out

Someone manage to run it on a modded switch, and it runs at 25 fps, sometimes at 40, but also freezes sometimes, the thing is it runs an unoptimized vibrant visuals

Nintendo can't actually handle vibrant visuals for three reasons. 1 it would be so lucky to the point where it would crash after 5 minutes every time. 2 vibrant visuals can't even go on the Nintendo switch 2 because Minecraft runs 60fps on the Nintendo switch 2. Which is the limit for a big game like that. 3 the biggest reason of all, Minecraft only allows two gigabytes of storage on the Nintendo switch. Vibrate visuals with significantly increase that
