Do not have the locator bar at all.

the locator bar is a really bad idea. sometimes players do not want friends to know where they are 24/7.      and it will suck when you find an amazing structure and say "i found a mansion!" and then the entire server starts running there instead of asking for cords which you can tell at your own disgression.

and also replacing the xp bar will become an issue in high level situations. such as mob farms becoming unreadable on hardcore: "oh i just need 2 levels for my levels to be the number i want!" and find they are at the bottom of leveling up from 2023 to 2025 levels.

now you may say that the fact you can turn it off will negate the issues. but no, for 2 reasons.

1. not all servers will listen to players, making no one play them.

2. this is fine for java, but bedrock's ui is becoming bad and hard to read.

 

so for the health of the game remove this.

    I think it should be off by default, and be an option during world creation.
