Let’s talk about the new Bedrock flat world presets!

We are excited to announce the addition of flat world presets to Bedrock, edging us closer to parity with Java edition. You can now select from some very special presets for your completely flat world:

  • Classic Flat
  • Tunnelers' Dream
  • Water World
  • Overworld
  • Snowy Kingdom
  • Bottomless Pit
  • Desert
  • Redstone Ready


There's still some things to come, like The Void preset, and we want to develop the future of flat worlds together with you, the community! We’d love to hear your thoughts on this, let us know in the comments — what do you think?

    La personalización actual si bien no está mal, ya es bastante bueno que nos permite seleccionar tipos de mundo plano que queremos, siento que queda un poco limitado, creo que nos beneficiaría una [Sección] que nos permitirá personalizar las capas con distintos bloques, osea dejarlo a nuestro propio gusto. Dentro de esa [Sección] podría haber una (Pestaña) para colocar el número de capas, una (Sub-Pestaña) para seleccionar que tipo de bloques queremos que lleve cada capa y claro, con sus respectivos ajustes de la altura ( 𝑌 ↑) que necesitamos⚙️

    There should be a system that allows player to generate structure in flat world and also option to choose which structure they want

    Please Please PLEASE let us make custom super flats again. Playing them years ago with my friends would bring so much joy to all of us and it would do the same for players now!!!

    1st: Presets are cool and all and do save time, but like, this just feels lazy when you could take an hour at most implementing the ability to customize each layer individually based on what the user wants. If I want to make a world completely out of Redstone Blocks, I should have the full capability of doing that.

    2nd: For the love of God, make it so we can customize other dimensions as well. I spent the last two days making a personal Skyblock just to find out that the Nether isn’t void, not even just super flat in general.
    I don’t want normal Nether, I want VOID Nether, that is what I expected would happen when I picked “The Void” preset.

    I have so much to rant about regarding this game, but the main focus here is this terrible preset configuration. Just make it consistent at least.

    Solo pido que se puedan editar las capaz del mundo plano para poder personalizar el mapa a nuestro gusto, así como aparecen en PC, PS3 o PS vita
    I'm simply asking that the layers of the flat world be editable so we can customize the map to our liking, just like they appear on PC, PS3, or PS Vita.

    muito Bom mesmo essa nova interface não tenho nada contra mas tem 1 coisa ruim algumas configurações pra mim tá em inglês e isso me dificulta de sabe oque de novo lançou


    isso precisar ser resolvido que fica ruim demais pra mim mas tirando isso as outras configurações são bem legais e a interface também
