Let’s talk about the new Bedrock flat world presets!

We are excited to announce the addition of flat world presets to Bedrock, edging us closer to parity with Java edition. You can now select from some very special presets for your completely flat world:

  • Classic Flat
  • Tunnelers' Dream
  • Water World
  • Overworld
  • Snowy Kingdom
  • Bottomless Pit
  • Desert
  • Redstone Ready


There's still some things to come, like The Void preset, and we want to develop the future of flat worlds together with you, the community! We’d love to hear your thoughts on this, let us know in the comments — what do you think?

    It Would be great to be able to customize the layers like in legacy edition, It would also be nice to have village generation again on flat worlds,

    im glad they have presets now, but it would be great to have custom superflat like java and old editions of bedrock

    I think they should make it to where you can choose any block and how many layers like on Java or old Minecraft Xbox One Edition

    Gosto do mundo plano, porém há algumas coisas que deixam a desejar, não há muita coisa a se fazer caso queira alguma aventura deveria implementar árvores ou cavernas a serem exploradas, claro. Sem deixar a essência do do que é plano

    Add customizable layers and save slots and add the option to allow structure and biomes and add ore generations as an option ^_^

    I would actually love a flat world exactly like the overworks preset but all stone and dirt and grass is sculk :)

    Please add a structure feature that can be turned on and off in the Bedrock Edition version for custom Flatworlds. I don't care how many custom Flatworlds you create. At least there is a feature to turn on structures in Flatworld for the Bedrock Edition version

    In my opinion they should make it so we can get java stuff in bedrock, not everything but only the debug stick custom enchantment levels etc! And almost forgot put anything in your off-hand that's probably my favourite one. I know we was supposed to talk abt custom flats but yeah

    Can we please have a regular Minecraft world that’s just flat? With strongholds and villages and different biomes.. it can’t be that hard..
