Let’s talk about the new Bedrock flat world presets!

We are excited to announce the addition of flat world presets to Bedrock, edging us closer to parity with Java edition. You can now select from some very special presets for your completely flat world:

  • Classic Flat
  • Tunnelers' Dream
  • Water World
  • Overworld
  • Snowy Kingdom
  • Bottomless Pit
  • Desert
  • Redstone Ready


There's still some things to come, like The Void preset, and we want to develop the future of flat worlds together with you, the community! We’d love to hear your thoughts on this, let us know in the comments — what do you think?

    Hello! The new flat world presets are epik! I recently downloaded Minecraft 360 edition from my old Xbox, and i love how the presets of today have the same names as the Xbox 360 edition presets. Also please give us the same custom settings as minecraft 360 edition or even better ones next update.

    please add customizable biomes, customizable layers with features like cauldrons with water, layers with a mix of blocks like have grass and water, and an ability to customize structures being on and of.

    Hey mojang! so I really like all of these. but can we please add custom ones? In case you don't understand what we mean, I just mean to basically just make it to where you can, for example, make the entire ground tnt by selecting that block for the ground. Or, even better, a way to make it look like parkour civilization. I'm sure grian, the creator of pkc would be fine with that, in fact he might even promote it!
