Redstone Feature Request - Waxing Components

The ability to temporarily lock Redstone components from player interactions with Wax. Noteblocks, Repeaters, Comparators, should all have the ability to be waxed so that a player cannot accidentally click and change its remembered setting. Could be useful for lectern with book as well. This feels like a technique that would be vanilla and makes sense with the waxing mechanic.
