When holding a Nautilus shell in your offhand it could increase your luck, by increasing the chances of getting Mending from fishing and from Enchantment Tables, increasing mob loot, etc. I am aware the luck effect exists, on Java, however it does not on Bedrock, and I usually play on Bedrock edition.
