It would be great if the new update or the next end update could adjust the pace of the game.
Sometimes, the thrill of beating the ender dragon and getting the Elytra can be lost if everything happens too quickly.
The ability to travel quickly with Elytra is awesome, but it can also make certain builds less useful and even diminish the excitement of exploration.
The higher the value, the rarer the item. Maybe like adding a small floating island at the very top where you need to defeat a certain boss to obtain the Elytra or a different way. Slowing down the progression would allow players to savor the experience, keeping the game engaging for longer.
