Precious block building varients

I think adding different varients to precious blocks would be really good. I'd like to put a touch of gold on my palace but its difficult to do so with only one type of gold block, being just a plain gold block. I think adding chiseled gold, smooth gold (so no seam lines) gold pillars, bars (like the iron bars) and at a push, stairs and slabs would be really cool. I think that would give a lot more variety when adding a luxurious touch to our builds.
