Changing spawned sheep colors to "match the cold and warm biome" theme is a bad change.
It feels entirely out of place from the rest of the farm animal texture revamps, and seems both visually unfitting and too comical when encountered in the wild. Specifically, adding red, orange, yellow, light blue, cyan, and blue makes the change feel like a badly-made addon. It also takes away the drive of breeding and dyeing sheep ourselves. It feels entirely unnatural from the rest of the game.
It also would not help with inventory clutter at all. Having an abundance of white sheep everywhere with the occasional color change to black, greys, and brown prevents the player from having to either search for matching colors for crafting - for example beds - and allows the player to search for their own dye colors, enhancing game exploration.
As a suggestion, creating different textures for a warm and cool sheep variation would both be beneficial and on theme for the rest of the drops.
EX:
A Dorper sheep or a St. Croix sheep for warmer biomes, A very wooly sheep for colder biomes (no breed given because changing a wooly animal to fit the cold better does not need a reference), and the existing sheep for temperate biomes (with possibly some slight texture changes!).
Please take this into consideration, and keep with the theme of animal variants and not making sheep spawns look entirely out of place and comical. Thank you.
