Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sound Improvement Suggestion – Brick Block

Hello, Minecraft Team!

I would like to share a suggestion regarding block sounds in the game, specifically for the brick block. Currently, it uses the same sound as stone blocks, which feels a bit generic. In real life, bricks have a distinct sound—more hollow and dry—compared to the solid and heavy sound of stone. Differentiating this sound could add an extra layer of immersion to the game and make each block feel more unique.

This small change could also pave the way for more sound variety across other building blocks, giving each material its own identity.

    I'm always down for more small features like this that add to the immersion!
