Riptide 3 change on Bedrock

In the current version of bedrock (v1.21.51), riptide 3 no longer propels you ~40 blocks upwards, but less. This is incredibly inconvenient for general usage, and offputs buildings that utilized the old efficiency of riptide 3. (For example, I have built a vertical shaft that utilizes riptide to ascend upwards to access higher areas that I need to traverse often. It no longer functions as intended.)

I agree with this it makes bedrock survival obsolete. I just joined a realm with my friends and I got riptide but it's so ineffective now for its INTENDED PURPOSE OF TRAVEL.
