Mycelium sprouts and roots

These two plants (or I guess fungus) would generate in mushroom fields instead of grass. This was pretty much just inspired by the dry grass added in the most recent snapshot.

    This reminds me of how much I have always wanted the stems of the Overworld mushrooms to be a source of planks and charcoal, which itself reminds me of how annoying it is to not be able to un-craft nether Wart blocks.
