I know Mojang has gotten rid of the mob vote (...for now), but there are a lot of people who want to bring it (or something similar to it) back.
I will remind Mojang here that they started the mob vote to create a stronger connection with the community. Now that that's gone, you have to rely on the feedback site, which the majority of the Minecraft community doesn't even use.
They should bring back some connection like the mob vote. However, I suggest the following changes:
- Don't limit it to mobs! It could be anything! (e. g. items, structures, enchantments, blocks, functions for already-existing things, and of course, mobs! And other things that can be thought of. I know Mojang removed biomes from the vote because they were too much work, though.)
- Promise that things that got at least some amount of the vote will get into the game. Just because a player votes for one thing doesn't mean they don't want the others, so the minimum should be pretty low (maybe 10% or less). I know that some people want to make all the things make it eventually, but if they aren't popular enough to begin with, it's probably not worth it. And, I repeat, promise they'll make it into the game, don't just say they might.
I hope you like this idea! Vote if you do!
