Butterflies for crafting recipes

The Butterfly mob will be used for 3 crafting recipes. The first will be the redstone butterfly which is crafted using 8 redstone dust and 1 butterfly in the middle of the middle row and it will follow a redstone current, it travels at 2 blocks a second. The second is the accurate arrow, unlike a normal arrow this arrow always hits its target and is crafted like a normal arrow but the feather is replaced with a butterfly. The last recipe is the butterfly compass, crafted using 5 feathers 4 butterflies and 1 compass, in the overworld it points to the nearest diamond ore, in the nether it points to the nearest ancient debris. The butterfly can only be found in flower fields and sparse jungles and needs a bottle to collect.

    1) What would be the purpose/use of the redstone butterfly?

    2) How would the arrow know which target you're aiming for, whether it's a mob or a target block?

    3) What relation do butterflies have with ores, such that a butterfly compass would point to the nearest diamond/debris blocks?

    4) I like the idea of butterflies being caught with bottles (similar to fish being caught with buckets). Tho Bane of Arthropods seems like an unnecessary requirement for something that would already be tough to hit.

    Good question I did fix some of these such as number 4 but I do have answers

    1: If the redstone butterfly comes into contact with a redstone component (for instance a redstone lamp) it will activate.

    2: The accurate arrow only hits the nearest target in sight (no matter if its a target block or a mob)

    3: Idk I just thought it would be a neat idea plus most things in minecraft dont make sense so yeah
