Amethyst Geode Biome

This is a rare biome where blocks from amethyst geodes are found in abundance.

• Amethyst blocks replace all exposed stone or deepslate blocks in the cave.
• Calcite blocks generate after amethyst blocks if they are touching an amethyst block.
• Smooth basalt generates after calcite blocks if they are touching calcite blocks and also on the borderline of the amethyst geode biome.
• Ores that try to replace smooth basalt can become deepslate ores. All overworld ores, including emerald ore, attempt to generate at all levels in this biome, but are restricted to generating in smooth basalt in medium quantities.
• Gemstone ores (Emerald, Diamond, Lapis Lazuli) attempt to generate more often than other ores in this biome.

There can be huge patches of budding amethyst replacing amethyst blocks in the biome. Skeletons and spiders spawn here. The water that generates in this biome can be light purple.
