Creaking should deal more damage if you have too much armor on

The creaking has been known to deal too little damage to those with Diamond and Netherite gear equipped, so why don't you make it so that it deals more damage the more defense you have rather than less damage? This would make the best countermeasure against the creaking a risky one - unequip your armor. Something completely unheard of when out in the middle of the night, and that could result in you being easily killed by a creeper jumpscare.

    The entire point of armor is that it helps you take less damage. It wouldn't make sense if something you worked hard for hurt you.

    This is a really cool idea, and also just good game design to make the player decide whether to risk high damage from the creaking or high damage from other threats.

    I think that they shouldn't have put in the creaking in the first place, but now that it's in, let's not change it.
