Choose when glass panes connect

I think it would be a nice little tweak for building with glass panes, to put it simply, add a shift clicking feature that would allow players to place solid blocks or other things beside glass panes without having the panes connect to what you place beside them, a lot of players have faced some annoyance in designing room layouts so that whatever they place doesn't interfere and connect with windows they place in their builds, so allow them to choose what does and doesn't connect with an adjacent glass pane would just help streamline that kind of building process without losing anything or getting frusterated.
