I thought the shield should have more enchantments other than unbreaking and mending (and apparently so do a lot of players) and I came up with a few balanced ones that might be a good addition to the game.
Repulsion - increases knockback done to the player/mob that attacks you when the shield is raised.
Hardening - Increases the durability taken from the tool that the player/mob uses to attack your shield.
Thorns - (already exists but can be applied to shields) damages the player/mob that attacks you when your shield is raised. Not compatible with Repulsion.
