This post is part 6 in a series of feedback trying to add some flavor to biome exploration. Normally, we would be suggesting a small feature that would add a material reward to the biome, but this will be a break from the norm.
This post will also use the grainy grass idea posted in part 3, so read the first for details: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/33404829655949-grainy-grass-adding-extrinsic-value-to-daily-Minecraft-nature-pt-3
The idea behind wild grass and wild prairie biome is to add a plains-loke biome, but it's entire color scheme is gold colored. This is supposed to signify the open Buffalo plains on Wyoming.
I propose we add wild grass, a new type of grass with a completely different design texture, and color. It would be slightly grayish brown with a yellowish tin in there as well. This wild grass would spawn interspersed with grainy grass spawning as a 2 tall variant.
I think this biome would look cool, but would feel empty without a new native mob. So maybe buffalo, pronghorn, red-tailed hawk, or other American animals.
This would add a moving. Breathing ecosystem with lots of abundance when it comes to food.
