Crystalline Ruby Formations (Vertical Redstone Current)

Similar to how amethysts have a placeable crystal variant there would be a ruby crystal formations which could be found deep underground. They would form from the ceiling downwards and provide a small amount of light.

A placeable ruby would provide power directly through 5 blocks if they are touching it. This current can be transmitted both upwards and downwards. Additionally, the smaller crystal ruby formations would provide an increasingly smaller amount of light as they shrink in size.
