Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add tree bark (item)

Obtained by stripping logs, can be used to create a fire starter kit (1 bark + 1 stick) and can also be used to create paper

But we already have paper and flint and steel. Why not add a new item to the game? Tree bark is used for making cloth in real life, we could use tree bark to make canoes, or i just came up with an awesome idea! what about lava boats, minecraft needs one of those. Tree bark or nether bark could be used to make the inside of the boat, Minecraft could make nether wood fire proof!
