Cold pigs should not freeze in powdered snow

It would make a lot of sense because cold pigs live in colder biomes which means that they're used to temperatures. Warm and normal pigs should freeze normally, but there's no reason for cold pigs to freeze.

Maybe they could walk on powdered snow using the same mechanics as a player using leather boots, which would add functionality / an incentive to pig riding.
