Leaf litter should be placeable on other blocks [Snapshot 25w02a]

Leaf litter should be placeable on other blocks, not only the plant-able block like dirt/grass/moss (I mean you dont need to plant leaves right?)

    Yes, it should behave more like snow. (Even being able to have multiple layers)

    Leaf letter that behave like snow layer is probably not a great idea that much for a bit of reasons
    1. Leaf litter is more like a transparent layer, not a full layer like snow. there's no collision and thats great
    2. A stacked leaf would look kinda wierd with alot of its transparent parts

    All any restriction like this does is take away from the creative potential, which is completely against the idea of Minecraft. Even a block like the Magma Block, where it may make some sense that leaf litter couldn't survive, again I would suggest that it'd simply restrict creativity to not allow it.

    In short, I see no benefit, only detriment from restricting where leaf litter can be placed.

    the leaf litter could build up the equivalent of a snow layer once it has all 4 tiles filled. making it 4 x 8 = 24 leaf litter for 1 block. each layer could affect the movement efficiency in a negative proportion.

    It feels fairly obvious that they reused the code for pink petals to create leaf litter and either neglected to or decided not to lift the placement restrictions. Considering no changes have been made to leaf litter aside from a bug fix, I'm slightly concerned that this was an intentional choice which I hope isn't the case. Leaf litter is just dead leaves, they don't grow from the ground they fall and land wherever, so it having the same placement restrictions as a living plant doesn't make sense

    It would be the most useful if you were building on bedrock because that feature already exist but sorry to the Java players
