Hi everyone!
I have an idea for a new block that would be extremely useful for Redstone projects. Currently, there isn’t a block in Minecraft that combines the following properties:
- Not moved by slime blocks: The block should remain stationary when a slime block passes by or comes into contact with it.
- Movable by pistons: At the same time, a piston should be able to push or pull this block directly.
A block that works similarly to glazed terracotta would be perfect. Glazed terracotta has the useful property of being non-sticky and unaffected by slime or honey blocks, but unfortunately, it cannot be moved by pistons. A block that behaves like glazed terracotta but is piston-movable would open up new possibilities for Redstone machines and flying contraptions.
The honey block comes somewhat close to these properties, but it doesn’t fully meet my requirements because it interacts with other blocks in ways that are sometimes undesirable for specific designs.
This new block could be introduced as something like an "isolated block" or "neutral plate." Alternatively, an existing block, such as stone bricks, could be given these properties.
