I think it would be a good idea to implement an advanced type of crafting for certain types of transportation into the main game. For example, by surrounding a boat with redstone dust in a crafting table, you could create a motorboat that moves faster, and damages mobs on impact. Another idea would be to have golden elytras occasionally spawn in Bastions. This would create a safe way to fly in the Nether and will not work in the Overworld. My final idea is to be able to put boats, minecarts, and elytras into smithing tables with any mineral or ingot to gain certain buffs (only while riding in them). Coal will increase the chance of a nearby cave or mineshaft to generate. Copper will decrease the chance of a thunderstorm. Gold will increase ruined portal generation. Iron will make your transportation blast-proof. Diamond will give you Luck III for five minutes after you leave your transportation. Emerald increases village generation. Finally, Netherite will make the boat completely fire-proof. By implementing these ideas, you are guaranteeing a better transportation system leading to more epic adventures.
