Storing Levels with new items

I wish I were able to store my levels especially if I'm exploring some place dangerous. Maybe an item like a glistening bottle could be added that stores one of your level which can be accessed by throwing it on you like a Bottle o' Enchanting or maybe just give you one level directly instead of giving you one level worth of experience.
