the dangeros Moon Phases

The biome and certain plants, animals, and items will react differently based on the current moon phase, adding a layer of depth and interaction.

    Sounds great. I'd love more variation in how the world behaves, currently the only use for the moonphase is slime spawning. It doesn't need to be so limited. Good suggestion!

    Part of it could effect certain mob spawn rates. Witches could spawn more on phases closer to a new moon, with none spawning on any phase more full than half-full. In exchange for fewer witches, the phases closer to a full moon could cause more mobs to spawn as babies (either zombies spawn more frequently as babies or more types of mobs like skeletons and spiders, or even creepers, spawn as babies).

    It would add variation to nighttime PvE beyond phantoms -- like you said, a layer of depth and interaction.
