in the labyrinth, you will faces many foes. here they are:

hoarder: attacks with a sword or spear (new weapon) and has a damage absorbing ribcage that it can drop (new armor). ir is usually found in treasure rooms and all hoarders in a 40 block area get aggroed to you if you open a chest, or break a precious block within sight of one.

skeleton imp: will bite you. they slow your mobility and jump height for a few seconds when they bite you. they drop bonemeal when killed

blyte: a ghost-like monster made of blyte fire. they fly around starting blyte fires everywhere and slow you down. when low on health, they can also find blyte anchor blocks (talk about those later) to possess like silverfish and heal up, so don't let them get to those. they are very annoying.

lighter: a skeleton with candle all over it that run into you and light you on fire. they really dont do anything else other than drop the bones and the candles.

revenant: a zombie that will spawn in a room in the labyrinth with ice in it. the revenant will give you the freezing effect with a timer, and the damage you take from the freezing will grown exponentially, so note too avoid being attacked too many times by these things for fear of dying to them alone. drop rotten flesh and icicles

the searcher: a skeleton with a huge, deadly axe. it has one eye socket. it holds it's eye in its hand, however. despite all that, as if the eye were all seeing and powerful in magic ability, the searcher is the most advanced pathfinder out of any mob in the game. it has a rapidly updating ai that constantly scans the entire area of its surroundings to find the fastest route to you, and the searcher follows that path perfectly. it is scary to know that when you awaken such a foe, you know it is gaining on you. always gaining on you.

the lich king: this powerful boss mob has many abilities that you need to hurtle before you can beat it. it wields a powerful staff (it drops that item), and uses spells like summoning mor blytes to fight you, it creates a rain of explosive blyte fireballs that you have to take cover from. it slams it staff into the ground to create shockwaves. it summons a skeletal hand that grabs your leg and immobilizes you while also dealing damage. it's final attack is a powerful energy spear thrust that can instantly kill a player in any armor that does not have projectile protection (yes netherite too).

    new items:

hoarders ribcage: it absorbs all damage from projectile, explosive, and fire attacks. everything except for melee. i has very low durability though, meaning it's really only for getting you out of tough positions in lava pools, skeleton shoot offs, and large creeper hoards.

spear: a new weapon. it has a stab attack where it is capable of hitting many mobs in a singular group kind like sweeping edge for swords but with longer reach, and less width. it does 7.5 base damage, but it has enchantments.

blyte fire charge: dropped by blytes. it will create blyte fire. can be shot out of a dispenser and has animation like that of the blyte fireballs summoned by the lich king.

runed shard: drops when you break a runed pot lying on the labyrinth floor or breaking runed grimstone. can be used with a special block called the rune altar (kind of like enchanting table) to give the enchantments that correspond with the rune to a selected tool or armor peace. these runes can also be used in other powerful magic blocks.

blyte candle: a limited resource. it is found only in the blyted labyrinth, and can only be lit with blyte fire charges. creates what looks like a wax carpet texture on top of the block it is placed on when lit for too long.

icicle: can be placed on the bottom of blocks to create decoration and a trap (like dripstone). can also can also be loaded into a crossbow and fired out like a projectile that shatters on contact of the target.

lich key: a rare loot piece found in chests that can be used to unlock the lich vault. these vaults can give you armor trims (like the searching armor trim, the blyte armor trim, or the banshee armor trim), diamonds and other treasures, enchantment books, a spear, and a new item. the blyte totem. this totem can be powerful. when popped, it gives you the ability to swim through lava, have 3 blyte bodyguards, and be able to absorb infinite damage for the endurance of one of the new effects, stasis (we'll talk about that later).

enchantments: includes swift thrust, which makes the spear attack faster, skewer, which makes the damage dealt by the stab attack of a spear multiply for every mob it stabs through, and extention, which increases the length of spear reach  for spears. it includes fine point, which increase the base damage for attacks from tridents, spears, and crossbows, and soul steal, which steals health from any entity hurt by the wielder of the weapons with such enchantment.

runic conduit: it creates a powerful forcefield that is resistant to any attack, but with a health bar, it must be charged with run crystals.

rune crystals: an enchantment fuel item that can be used in an enchantment table, and a rune altar, to enchant tools. when ground in a grindstone, it will give experience points.

    runed grimstone: drops rune shards

runed pot: scattered across labyrinth drops 4 rune shards and any loot contained inside when broken.

blyted lantern: crafted with lantern and blyte fire charge.

banshee cloth: dropped by banshee. can be crafted into invisibility potions, and invisibility cloak. the cloaks takes the chest plate spot, but will hide everything, including your armor, potion particles, and name tag. the potion will not take up you chest plate slot.

blyte campfire: crafted with campfire, and blyte fireball.

Executioner's ax: giant ax dropped by the searcher. has slow attack speed, but does 11 attack damage. cannot crit, but has sweeping edge compatibility, making it very deadly.

dilated lens: dropped by searcher. crafts the dilated spyglass, which can see all mobs (not other entities like armor stands and minecarts) in an area through blocks. also has farther sight distance.

shackles: can be used like a lead, except can catch hostile mobs like spiders, zombies, skeletons, creepers, endermen (though they can teleport away when aggravated by water, ender mites, or looking into their eyes.

lich staff: the most powerful item found in the labyrinth. can be used to summon blytes, and the undead. can rain blyte fire. can use the energy spear attack. very powerful. however, when broken, it becomes another item called the splintered staff, which cannot cast spells. the staff cannot be enchanted. this staff can speed up the passing of the day if used with a clock.
