Banner Connection Mechanic

This is a simple idea that i know many people would enjoy, an update that allows you to combine banners that are next to and/or above/below each other by using string or have them automatically connect, and use sheers to separate them. The mechanic would be similar to that of walls and how they extend to connect to neighboring walls. It would work so well in any castle or fortress style build, or even used to make decorations like massive curtains for theaters, or sails on a boat. It would allow people to add a level of detail currently impossible in game without mods. The mechanics are already in game, they just need to be implemented in a new way.
