Expanded Farming & Villager Trades

Here's my proposal:
Since all of the huge new updates have been happening, the villagers feel old and uninteresting. They sell stuff that yeah, you could use, but I feel it would be super cool if they could get some updated trades. We don't even have a villager that trades eggs! 

Also, farming. I think that the farming universe needs to be expanded on a tad bit. Okay, maybe not a tad. I think that we need more crops. Corn, rice, tomatoes, etc.! It would be super fun, especially for players who are more into farming. We only really have a few crops, and even those have barely any uses.
Lastly, we should definitely give some of the useless blocks more than one purpose. The pitcher plant and torchflower, for example, are basically unusable for anything fun. It would be cool if we could plant more plants, and villagers could buy them, and maybe you could turn some of them into food. Or we could add flies for the frogs, and the pitcher plants could eat those. A whole carnivorous forest could be really cool as well. Poison Jungle-esque, if you've read Wings of Fire. 

My main point is that I don't think we need many more biomes, I think we need to expand a bit on the forgotten parts of Minecraft. Nothing too flashy, just a gameplay update that would make the experience much more new and fresh!
