Ideas for New Foods (And something about a food that already exists)

So first, let's talk about apples. Right now, you get them by mining oak leaves, but I think they should hang from the leaves as an apple block and you can mine that to get the apple. Now, we'll start talking about the new foods. First, I had an idea for a banana food item. You could get them from banana trees, which would be found in deserts, jungles, swamps, or beaches. A banana will restore 3 hunger points. Once they grow on the tree, they'll hang down like the apples I mentioned earlier. You can get banana wood from the trees, which would be a green-colored wood. Now I had an idea for a food called cherries. Now, there is a type of tree in Minecraft called a cherry tree, but it's simply just a tree with pink leaves. If you're going to call them cherry trees, maybe have them grow some actual cherries, huh?
