I think there should be an option in the Minecraft settings where you are able to disable coloring of biomes in the game. For example, if this were disabled, the player would no longer have to deal with the dead grass and leaves if trying to build green spaces in deserts. This would also be helpful for builders so the color of nature blocks are consistent across all biomes because it can break immersion. It can be annoying to have a large build where in one area the grass is the plains biome color and then in another area its the savanna biome colors.
The setting would go right next to the biome blend option. "Disable Biome Coloring". If enabled, all grass and water would be one color across all biomes, perhaps the colors of the plains or forest biome. Also, Tree leaf colors will be the color that the tree's leaves are in it's native biome. Example: Jungle trees will stay lush just like they are in a jungle biome regardless of the biome the tree resides in.
There is probably already a resource pack out there that does some aspect of what this post is asking; however, it would be nice to have "Disable Biome Coloring" as a vanilla setting.
