The Misty Woods

The Misty Woods is a large forest with massive trees (similar to large spruce trees, but bigger). Visibility is restricted due to the misty, making it harder to see things the further away they are. You can see for 1 chunk normally, the next 2 chunks are lightly obscured, and the rest are heavily obscured. 

What's in the Misty woods? Well, there are your normal passive mobs, as well as your usual hostile ones. However, in some patches the mist can stop mobs from burning in sunlight. What else is there? Well, there's a new village type, the "Misty village". It's a wee but unsettling, but an abandoned one would be worse. I don't the space to add new mobs, but, if you wish, I can create separate posts about said mobs. Tell me 1. if this idea works, and 2. if it works, give me an idea of what kind of mobs you think would suit this biome.

    eyes in the mist. if you look at them they transform into mistlings which are endermen but they aren't damaged by water and are pale blue.

    I think that this biome should have a bit of a magical feeling to it. To start, I suggest that vexes and allays should spawn naturally in the misty woods, but they should be relatively rare.
