I suspect that there is indeed hope for this, Mojang recently said they have a lot planned for the Illagers, hinting that they will be updated. And I think bringing back the iceologer would get people really excited. I also suspect that the Moobloom would come with it because that would bring all the mobs from one of the most controversial updates, which would make the community go nuts.

I think the Ice Revenant should have a unique weapon to make it stand out among the crowd of hostile mobs. I'm thinking a magical icy spear that it can thrown repeatedly like a drowned with a trident. It wouldn't be affected by gravity however it would phase out after about 30 blocks. When it hits you I reckon, it does one heart of damage and then five seconds of freezing damage (like powdered snow.) Depending on the situation it's implemented, I would say the weapon could be added to the game as a drop for the mob.

Thanks for the positive feedback! If this post hits 20 votes, I'll make one for the mushroom island!

The Iceologer would be a fantastic addition, and would certainly distract people from the glow squid (I rather dislike that mob). However, the Iceologer would be frustrating and difficult for a new player who  makes a new world and encounters one in an ice spikes or snowy plains biome. Maybe there could be a specific structure, like an Ice Palace or Ice Fortress, in which they would dwell?

I think that the Iceologer should spawn in an ice tower, & should also spawn in an ice palace, where a new frozen boss will dwell. I'm imagining something like an Illager wraith, ghostly & pale.

I've designed a weapon related to the Ice Revenant! Behold, the Frostblade!

The Frostblade is a claymore inspired weapon, sharp & powerful. When used, it will inflict slowness upon the victim. It has a long, icy edge. If you hold "interact," it will begin to charge. If you charge enough & release, it will release a crescent of frost, inflicting heavy slowness upon all those who touch it. It lasts 3 seconds. The blade alone does a point more damage than a diamond sword, & the crescent does 4. It is used by some of the Revenants in combat, & has extreme durability. It can be fixed using frost shards, dropped by Revenants.

I'll let you, the community, vote for my next post. The one that gets most upvoted before New Year (I'll post an intro for each) wins, & will be my next post. Only one can remain. Here are the Candidates!

    1. Mushroom Islands & a Strange new Island Biome
    2. Deserts & a Secret Beneath the Sand
    3. A New Realm of the Skies, Serene & Dangerous

    The Desert update (intro)

The Deserts are rather boring, with nothing but cactus & sand as far as the eye can see. I seek to change that using an overhaul of its current features, along with adding some new ones. I'd also like to include those found in the biome vote. So, here's my intro idea!

The deserts of Minecraft are rather plain, but the ones of Minecraft Dungeons are the opposite. They have new trees, new structures, &... sand layers? I think that Minecraft should give sand some of the variants snow has, mainly sand layers. This would add a better landscape to the biome. It could generate during sandstorms, a new weather type only available in the desert. When a player is inside a sandstorm cloud, they will be damaged over time.

Another Idea I had was a hidden dungeon beneath the sand, including a new weapon; the Glaive. It has a farther reach, & deals heavy damage if used from behind. Use the new enchantment "poison edge" to make it inflict poison upon use.

    The Sklands Dimension (Intro)

I'm sure we've all heard of the Aether, an awesome dimension that seems the opposite of the Nether. Well I took inspiration from it & made my own! Presenting, the Skylands!

My first feature I thought of is of course a way to get there. You cannot get there by portal, but by flying above the height limit. It should be at least a hundred blocks above, in case the height limit is altered in a future update. In this new dimension, there are new lush biomes, & powerful ores. Starstone can be found at the bottom of every island, & no stars can be seen in the sky, adding to the lore of the game. Starstone can be smelted into 3 ingots at a time, & crafted into diamond level armor that grants you speed, jump boost, & slow falling when the full set is worn. Can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe. The Clouds can be seen beneath this dimension's skybox.

My idea keeps getting rejected to the community. Not sure why. It was epic if you ask me. Well, I guess I'll think of something else! By the way, my account switched somehow today. I'll be TheChieftan9442 from now on!
