Change in tools and durability

In Minecraft the tools structure(when held in hand) and the durability is coming same for a long while. I would like a change in it and that is the some points should be placed on the durability bar and when the durability reaches the certain point, It should make a sound so the player will know the durability. It doesn't makes much sense about tools in the hot bar but it will help in armor which will improve pvp. Second I talked about the structure of tools on the screen to be changed a little bit. Looking forward from opinions from others. Mr KM
