Scrolls

They are used to trade with cartographer villagers; when you trade for explorer maps, you have to go to the location. Elder guardians will now drop an ocean scroll; you have to find a loot in the trial chambers and woodland mansions, they might have more than 1. When you come back to the villager with the map and the scroll, it gives you many emeralds. You can also craft the 3 scrolls together, giving you the ultimate scroll (name may change). When traded with the cartographer, they will give you a special item: it can be alot of emeralds, totem of undying, or something else. If it were to be part of trade rebalance,

    If it were to be part of trade rebalance update, Swamp huts would have an item frame containing the Swamp Scroll. Finally, in a chest of a jungle pyramid, there would also be the Jungle Scroll. The six would be required to craft the "ultimate scroll", but since it's harder, you get more emeralds.

    QUESTION: What would this scroll DO? It has to have a use.

    {reply to question} It can be traded to cartographers for high amount of emerald/give hero of the village effect or idk. I think they should also be placed in chiseled bookshelves for a better decoration :). Idk anything else you may suggest a use.

    What if they could be used to craft the maps sold by cartgraphers... say your traveling in a woodland mansion and find a trial chamber scroll. Then, you can use it to find a trial chamber!

    They also could maybe be used to find rare biomes like mushroom fields, deep dark etc. (like how players can currently trade with villagers to get maps that lead to structures that are hard to find).

    I like it. Maybe in exchange for a scroll, you could get an explorer map to a structure you usually can't map too, like an ancient city. Good idea!
