New Elder Guardian Changes

I think that the elder guardian should drop a new item that could either craft a trident, or buff the trident. That way there is an actual reason to go to an ocean monument. Also the elder guardian should do more damage and have more health so it could actually be a boss.

    Or like a special ore that acts like a netherite but for tridents and turtle helmets

    I dont think it should be involved with tridents unless it somehow allows for unique trident uses, maybe elder guardian hearts used to make an elder trident.

    This could be used to amplify the trident, giving it a tidal effect underwater and causing mobs to be stunned underwater temporarily, but this causes enchantments to be less as effective (This could be useful for riptide, where it's not as quick to swim but still allowing a good amount of distance to be traveled.). However elder tridents would be slower and heavier, but it would also deal more damage.

    The balance is meant to keep the prior utility for tridents useful. I also believe it would counter-balance the PVP functionality between players who use diffrent tridents (it would also insure that players who cant get an elder trident wont be left behind players that get elder tridents).

    This item may demand renewability of elder guardians somehow. Prehaps elder guardians can be created by using a sponge on an elder guardian?

    i agree. the elder guardian is too easy to fight, and it should give you a good reason to go to an ocean monument, other than sponges
