Sprint sneaking was labeled as a "bug," and was "fixed" despite the fact that it was an extremely fun and helpful movement mechanic. It could be used to move around Ancient Cities at a decently fast rate as opposed to sneaking slowly around the ancient city if you didn't bring 5 stacks of wool. Sprint Sneaking is overall way more fun than the "intended" way to explore Ancient Cities.
Also, I will add that whether players realize it or not, they've probably heavily used several of these mechanics, and there will probably be an influx of players complaining about how eating now entirely cancels their sprint. I always thought the bug was the other way around, the fact that eating did not let me sprint because that is the thing that is unintuitive.
As a result, I move that this change be immediately reverted, but not only that, but that the opposite approach to fixing the "bug" is taken. Which is to say, allow us to start sprinting while eating, sneaking, crawling, etc.
Now you might say "but those things are supposed to slow you down." And to that I say, "they already slow you down, do we really need to make the player even slower?" Besides the ability to consistently sprint crawl would be a lot of fun and could make "vents" in bases more fun to move around in.
Anyways I hope you'll consider my proposition. -Respectfully Xigzagamer.
