In Mojang’s recent update, the new Ominous Events feature brings battles directly to you. Enter Gardener’s Omen, a dark twist on survival. Journey into the Pale Garden, where a monochrome forest lies in eerie silence—until nightfall awakens its secrets. The trees and plants are infused with resin, the lifeblood of this strange biome. But Illagers and other mobs avoid this place for a reason: the forest holds an ancient, dark power, one that creates puppet-like creatures called the Creaking.
At night, drinking an ominous bottle grants you the Gardener’s Omen effect. Instantly, the sky floods with a haunting, bright orange, and a new bar appears, signaling an impending challenge. Waves of resin-infused mobs emerge—zombies, skeletons, spiders, and witches, their eyes glowing with the eerie resin that links them to the forest. Each defeated mob drops resin, resin bricks, and sometimes rare armor trim templates.
Dare to drink the potion under a full moon, and you’ll glimpse eyes staring down from the moon itself, a reminder of the Creaking’s haunting presence. Survive the night, and you might uncover the forest’s deepest secrets.
