The original idea was that there could be different variants for the Creaking heart that work with different log types (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Dark Oak, Jungle, Acacia, Mangrove, Cherry, Chrimson, and Twisted) The idea was they wouldn't generate naturally, and instead would only be exclusive to creative mode, like how deepslate coal ore was at one point supposed to work. really just there for map-makers. However with the recent bedrock beta and the ability to craft creaking hearts, as well as the hearts being used to farm a new resource, I feel like now especially, it could be nice to have a little more control over what the surroundings of the Creaking heart look like if you're building a farm with them. Additionally, I think it would also make sense to add something else to the crafting recipe to make it a bit less easy to craft, if say for example, resin becomes a resource you can obtain through other means, but I don't know what that would be yet. Creakings could also change to match their Creaking hearts I suppose, but I could see the Creaking looking the same no matter what just for simplicity sake.
