Using Resin Clump as Adhesive for Redstone?

I'm really intrigued by the new resin items and their associated blocks, but I'm especially interested in how resin clumps can be placed on the side and underside of blocks. Apparently, resin substances are often used in adhesives and electronics in real life, so it'd be really cool if you could use resin to place redstone components on walls and even ceilings! Maybe this could be done by placing redstone dust, repeaters, and comparators onto the resin clump directly or by crafting a redstone item with a resin clump.

Vertical redstone wiring has been requested by many people in the community for a long time, so this idea could not only make that a reality but also give the intrigue and investment that the new resin items and the pale garden deserve.

    This would be great, hopefully Mojang looks into this, however be careful because vertical redstone ideas are usually considered spam posts.
