Old Growth Oak Forest

Currently, Minecraft has an old growth birch forest and taiga, but all oak forests are mostly the smaller, shrubby variety of oak trees. I think it would be very cool to have an old growth oak forest, with the majority of trees being the larger "fancy" oaks. I've been playing Minecraft since beta... and one thing I loved about the world generation in beta was that the forests were mostly the large variety oak trees. The forests of large oaks always had a mystical, fantasy atmosphere to me-- it would be easy to implement and would add a biome that I feel many people would enjoy building in!

    Thank you for posting this! I have been wanting an Old Growth Oak Forest biome in the game for a long time now. I think this biome would be even better if it had ferns, flowers, moss, and rocks on top of the ground scattered throughout it.

    I think all biomes should have more variants like this. All oak forests look the same and haven't received a major change in a while. I always found it difficult to navigate through regular oak forests due to the leaves being too low to the ground.
