Soups, be it beetroot soup, mushroom stew, rabit stew, are generally decent food items by stats, however fact they are not stackable, they leave bowl behind (requiring other inventory slot or ditching it when on go) and generally tend to be somewhat harder to craft (especially rabit one) than most other foods, I think they could be buffed and also having something new to go in foods in Minecraft
all soups having multiple uses before being fully consumed, they could be even in tiers with "durability"/number of uses, excluding suspicious stews because those have potion effects and including them in this would make them broken in my opinion or required effects beign shorter, making them nearly pointless in most cases then
beetroot soup should be in my opinion weakest and could have like 2 servings before being consumed fully, mushroom one could be stronger and having 3-5 servings, and rabit one should be worth crafting so I would say about 8 servings, those all would be handled by durability similarly to tools, their overal saturation would liekly required to be rebalanced, but I would say this could give soups some place on casual players lunch menu, overal they would work similarly to cake you dont place down and dont consume instantly
alternatively soups could be consumed and saturation would increase gradually as long they are consumed, with different rates for other soups, while decreasing "durability", since they are liquids and you could just sip them of bowl
