1 making the Pale garden way bigger and rarer
- the pale garden should be a rare biome and also very big, the player should fear to get lost in it, if encountered while exploring the pleyer should decide if traverse it or get around it "if I enter now will I find a way out before nigh?". with a small biome such situations can't appear.
- why a forest is scary irl? it's not because of monsers but because you can get lost. but this only happens in a huge forest.
2 making the garden an actual garden: adding bush-like structures connecting trees to make the forest also a maze
- a garden is not natural, the pale garden should be an abbandoned garden. plants took over and is now a maze made of high and wild walls of leaves connecting trees. full of dead ends. the player will get lost in it during day and at night it will be chased by creakings. once entered is hard to exit.
- but who built this garden?
3 in the center of the biome a huge structure: an abbandoned manor, full of secrets.
- a sister structure to the mansion, maybe smaller, but full of rooms giving the player more questions about the nature of this garden than answers. this place is also filled with redstone contarptions to showcase redstone to new players.
- hidden chests but also secret passages wich may lead to a basement like in igloos.
Suggestion
the manor could be made of pale oak wood and deepslate in a late 1800 style. the outside is cold and desaturated but the inside is warm and strangely the fireplace is lit...
